A full time professional artist and tutor for thirteen years inspired by everything around her and prefering the freedom of painting from life, plein air in the countryside, at home & abroad. Linda’s painting philosophy is “Wherever you look there is inspiration”.
As well as teaching painting and drawing techniques, Linda sees her task as a tutor is to instil confidence in students so they feel able to develop their own style of work. Linda’s style of instruction is suited to groups of mixed ability, as she will demonstrate and include one to one tuition within the group.
Her work is in private & corporate collections worldwide, and has been selected for exhibition at the Designer & Artists Copyright Society.
A qualified tutor, Linda has written for Leisure Painter, led courses for Artist & Illustrator Magazine, she is a demonstrator for Chroma Atelier Acrylics and professional Associate of the Society of all Artistʼs. As well as her own workshops & holidays Linda leads courses at for the Field Studies Council, Cheddar Painting Holidays, Shades of France and the How Hill Trust.
